Cover Art for Venavis' story : Soul Storm

Hello few people who follow me,
I decided to write a kind of step by step journal of the work I did for this cover. No one asked me to, but what the hell, here it is!
First, I made a bunch of quick drawings and sent them to Venavis who comissioned it, to get his opinion:
After he had selected his prefered cover, I started working on it with better drawings:
I scanned them and put them together with Photoshop.
Then started working on the colors while making and adding new drawings when necessary (more monsters and such):
One of the steps that wasn't showcased here was the title font selection;
I made a few tries on Illustrator and decided to make a small modification of the well known Trajan Pro font.
These dimensions are horrible, I really hate that format, but Amazon have weird rules for their covers and I simply followed them.

HeroMachine : character creation tool

Hello!
I just discovered a very interesting character creation tool online called HeroMachine. It has a very large and complete set of features. You can create men, women, monsters and zombies in just a few minutes. Change their hair, faces, clothes and tools or weapons. It has fantasy items (like swords and armors), tech stuff (to create robots and alien hunters!), western accessories, modern clothes and so on.
If you are a writer who can't draw but would like to create your own character design, or if like me, you need inspiration to design new costumes for your characters, it is the perfect tool for you. Here are a few examples of what you can do (I didn't draw a single line):

Fanarting Venavis' story : Gabriel

First off, this journal entry is full of adult content, so if you lied about your age, just go away please.
Secondly, this journal entry contains very sensitive subject like non-censensual sex, all kind of kinks and violence, murder, and generally innapropriate themes for church. So if you're unconfortable with those, don't read what's next and go away now.

You have been warned.
I have been reading stories from Venavis, who posts mostly adult oriented material on DA. The author writes small chapters every single day (with occasional exceptions). All his stories contain a form of Master/slave relationship with generally a hot male character being submitted in violent manner AND an actual plot leading somewhere. Since I enjoyed those greatly, I decided to share them and drew some fanarts.
The first one I want to talk about is "Gabriel", an ongoing serie. It's a contemporary story with demons, werewolves, magic and a lot of kinky stuff. The first two chapters are definitly the steamiest so far, so if you can get through them, you are good to read the hole thing. Be warned, these two chapters contain dubious consent and one mention of a child molester priest getting what he deserves:
